why I love about my home - By the seller

Why did you buy in this area ?

I bought in this area because my time at work was split between North Charleston and the downtown peninsula. Being near the intersection of I-26 and 526, this location turned out to provide excellent quick access to all of the greater Charleston area.

What’s your favorite things about your house ?

I’m very busy with work and this townhome is low maintenance, so I don’t have to spend my weekends taking care of it. My bills are low because it’s an Earthcraft home. It’s a very friendly neighborhood, where it’s easy to get to know people.

Have you done any improvements to it ?

We've upgraded to marble counter tops, painted the home and we just installed new flooring throughout the entire house.

Tell us about your subdivision ?

It's a very friendly neighborhood full of families with young children spending lots of time outside. It's fun to catch all of the unique features of each house with each walk around the block.

What are the amenities that you use the most ?

I feel the neighborhood itself is an amenity, the big trees, the parks and the paths around the neighborhood. I use the Mixson Club pool, which is only a few minutes away.

Do your neighbors organize parties themselves at Halloween etc ?

Halloween is essentially a huge block party with hundreds of trick-or-treaters and tons of decorations.

What’s your favorite place in the area for coffee/breakfast/lunch/dinner ?

The Orange Spot for coffee, The Junction Kitchen and Provisions for breakfast, Mixson Market for lunch, and EVO for dinner, and Madra Rua for a beer.

How is the traffic in the morning/afternoon ? Any tips to beat it ?

There are a few train crossings in North Charleston, but each has a good bypass option if you find yourself in a hurry.

what the local newspaper has to say about Park Circle

In the last decade, Park Circle has gone from an up-and-coming neighborhood in North Charleston to a local destination. 

East Montague Avenue, one of the streets extending from the circle itself, includes a bustling strip filled with restaurants, breweries, eclectic mom ‘n’ pop shops and nightlife.

This was North Charleston’s old “Main Street” and it certainly has a downtown feel, though without all the foot traffic and bustle you get on the Charleston Peninsula. It’s a neighborhood hangout, with outdoor recreation, abundant parking and family-friendly options. It’s also become a hot spot for festivals, food truck extravaganzas and holiday soirees.
